Families and patients of Princess Margaret Hospital’s Ward 3B Oncology were treated to a well-deserved day of fun and magic thanks to Adventure World’s 6th annual “Big Day Out” Event.

The VIP treatment was rolled out for the in-patient and out-patient children and families of the oncology ward on Sunday 2nd April in Dragon’s Kingdom.

Each year Adventure World hosts Ward 3B families with the support of fellow businesses. This year’s entertainment included a musical show, petting zoo, face painting, Nova Casanova giveaways, over size board games, roving characters and special meet and greets with Yarli, Yarlotte, Flossy, Stitches the Bear and Paddle Pop Lion.

All of the families were treated to lunch, afternoon tea and special gifts. This day would not be possible without the assistance of major sponsor Coca Cola Amatil; close partnership with Streets, Rosie O Face Painters, Cockburn Party Hire, Rebecca from Musical Experiences for Children, Parties Kids Remember, Nova 93.7, Banyan Creative, Old Macdonald’s Farm; and donations from Streets Ice-cream, Mount Franklin, Circus Joseph Ashton, World Wide Printing, Express Fresh, Ryan’s Quality Meats, Zimbulis, Grannies Pies, Schnits and Il Granino.
