Western Australia’s premiere theme park, Adventure World, staged Perth’s newest Halloween extravaganza over two nights in late october.

Guests were greeted by flying witches and the Grim Reaper before making their way through a haunted graveyard on Adventure World’s main lawn.

Gladyiss Witchy-Poo met children who ventured into Kids Cove. The eager children took part in a Monster Playdoh Competition, had their faces painted and enjoyed the on stage games including “Trick or Treat” and “I Scream for Icecream”.

Families with older children witnessed the haunted theme park with scary ghouls, foggy lakes, scary music and props and were also able to spin wildly through the night on the Power Surge, hung upside down like bats on the Rampage and shot up through the dark night on Freefall.

Adventure World’s newest attraction and Australia’s largest aqua play rain fortress, Kahuna Falls, was the centre of attention for those that braved the mild temperatures on Friday and Saturday nights.

“We wanted to provide a family event for the whole community to dress up and enjoy Halloween in a safe environment and have been totally blown away by the attendances and great feedback we received” said Adventure World’s General Manager, Mark Shaw, “This is definitely an event we would like continue in the future and we’ve already started planning something bigger and better for next year!”
