Kahuna Falls, Adventure World’s newest attraction has just been blessed! No, not by the scores of parents who will be so relieved that school holiday activity ideas just got a whole lot easier… by a Hawaiian witch doctor.
In a ceremony filled with smoke, chanting and all things traditionally Hawaiian including decorative leis donated by Hawaii Tourism, Kahuna Falls was truly blessed in dramatic fashion.
At $3.3m it is the largest single investment made by Adventure World in a new attraction and is Australia’s largest Rain Fortress, even larger than WhiteWater World’s attraction on the Gold coast. As the name suggests, the attraction has a fabulous Hawaiian theme complete with Witch doctor, Tiki Gods, smoking volcanoes and palm trees. With its 100 features of fully immersive and interactive action it takes aqua fun to a whole new level. It will definitely be a hit with the whole family, including mum and dad.
The enormous play structure has over 12000 cubic meters of water including water sprays, geysers and other features located in and around an enormous “tree fort” structure. With platforms at up to 7.5 meters above the ground, it includes eight water slides, water jet guns and cannons, massive 1000-litre tipping buckets and smoking volcanoes.
Kahuna Falls sits within a new Hawaiian Tiki themed wider precinct complete with thatched pagoda seating area, individual thatched sunbrellas and comfy sun lounges, as well as the all-new “Kahuna Café”.
Adventure World understands the importance of staying safe in the WA sunshine and offers more shade areas than ever before, and, every area of the park is supervised by qualified lifeguards. Adventure World is not only proud to be smoke free but can also claim to be completely shark free!
