Adventure World is thrilled to announce the arrival of a new customised attraction, “Cirque Extreme!” featuring Circus Joseph Ashton.
The agreement will see Adventure World bring a series of customised and thrilling high adrenaline shows to guests over the coming peak summer season according to Mark Shaw, Adventure World CEO.
“Cirque Extreme! is nothing like you have seen at Adventure World before. Circus Joseph Ashton have been stretching the human limits of circus for over 150 years and have worked on some amazing projects, including with Baz Luhrmann and Nicole Kidman on the movie Moulin Rouge” said Mark. “We are really excited to bring an Extreme! version of these shows to Adventure World this summer”.
While the Theme park is keeping the specific details under wraps, guests can expect to be thrilled by acts like the wheel of death, flying trapeze, the high wire, flame throwing and more. And as with most things at Adventure World – be prepared to get a little wet!
Staged in the huge Ashton Circus big top tent at the base of Kraken, Cirque Extreme! will seat approximately 650 guests with two afternoon shows per day* from 18 December 2016 - 29 January 2017 (excluding Mondays). The attraction is included in the standard entry ticket for the park, providing another AWesome reason to visit or pick up a Season Pass.
In addition to Cirque Extreme!, Adventure World has also recently announced the pending arrival of a new $7.5m attraction codenamed ‘Mi3’ for the 2017/18 season, which will be the largest of its kind in Australia and continue to raise the benchmark already set by Abyss and Kraken.
The Theme park has also made significant investment into the park this season refreshing their food and beverage offer, re- theming the much loved Water Mountain, building a new car park and season pass holder entry, creating a new chill-out lawn area, and will also soon be adding a new event series “Summer Nights” to the calendar in February 2017.
The announcement also comes shortly after the theme park was named as finalists for four major tourism and business awards, two awards relating to the Tourism Council WA Awards in categories of Major Tourist Attraction, Sir David Brand Young Achiever Medal (Front of House Manager Christina Azar), along with the AIM WA West Business Pinnacle Awards in the category of Customer Service Excellence, and the Australian Hospitality Association for Excellence in training.
