Due to the forces and excitement created by this ride, riders must be in good health, free from physical limitations or known medical conditions, including the following:

- Any recent surgery
- High blood pressure
- Heart conditions
- Pregnancy
- Motion Sickness
If you are taller than 90CM and shorter than 105 CM, you can ride accompanied with an Adult. If you are taller than 105 CM, you can ride unaccompanied.

The Barnacle is one of the most popular rides for young children at Adventure World in Perth. Kids can ride The Barnacle with a parent and take a rollicking journey together through the magical oceans of Dragon’s Kingdom. The pirate ship will rock back and forth, around and around with a flick and a swirl through the waves.

The Barnacle sailed into Dragon’s Kingdom in 2004 and the ride has 6 rows of seats with room for the whole family. Adults are encouraged and welcome to ride with the children!
